Workshop FAQs

Yes. Although many classes welcome beginners, hobbyists and improvers can develop existing skills, try a different embroidery technique or work on a more detailed project.

Susie teaches at venues throughout Scotland and may be able to travel to other locations. Contact Susie with your proposed venue, group size and preferred dates to discuss what is possible.

Susie offers half-day, full-day and two-day workshops. She also teaches four-day residential embroidery and cross stitch courses at Gartmore House several times a year.

Residential FAQs

Residential courses are booked directly through Gartmore House. Places can sell out well in advance, so early booking is recommended.

The Gartmore House residentials combine four days of embroidery tuition with full-board accommodation. Tuition is tailored to your experience and goals, whether you want to try a new technique, work on a particular project or enjoy uninterrupted stitching time.
